We have now toured 5 places and driven by a few more. We have pretty much narrowed it down to two that we really like so we have sent in rental applications and are waiting to hear back. Hopefully, we'll know soon. One thing's for sure - I'm going to have to get used to the style of decor here known as "island aloha", or as I like to call it, "floral explosion" ;)
Yesterday in between house viewings E and I hung out at the pool and in the lawn between our condo and the shoreline.
The weather is absolutely gorgeous here. Probably about 85 and sunny every day, except when it randomly clouds over and rains for about 10 minutes and then goes back to being sunny. There is always a nice breeze wherever you are so it really doesn't feel too hot.
We also got a little time to relax and play with Jon when he got home. Everett has just gotten confident in his high-fiving skills, thanks to his dad. Until recently he would do a shy, slow-motion version but they practiced the other night and after each one they both cheered and went crazy. It's super cute and now he's a high-fiving (with cheers afterwards) pro!
He's still adjusting to the time difference but it's getting better every day. We're about to go check out "Baby Beach". Aloha!
That kid is so cute!!! Glad you're adjusting to life in Hawaii! Oh and I've got several friends who moved to Hawaii recently so if you need any advice or help with anything, just holler!
