On Saturday, Kim and I took the kids to the Kaua'i Coffee Farm open house to play and take pics with Santa. It was a great time. The boys had a blast together, as usual.
It turns out Everett is not a fan of Santa.... poor thing was scared to death. Maybe because Santa was skinny and wearing a Hawaiian shirt.
But it was so cute - he quickly pulled himself together and tried really hard to put on a brave face for Mommy's pictures :)
I made up for it afterwards by letting him go in the petting zoo. If there's one thing Everett is a fan of, it's animals.
All Santa-related trauma was forgotten :-)
My sweet boy....
As soon as he got out of the pen, he chased down the farm dog and offered him his candy cane.
Later that night we watched Will for a couple hours and the boys continued their bonding. They chased each other around laughing and giving each other constant hugs. The only time they slowed down enough for a photo was for some snacks and about the first five minutes of a Veggie Tales video.
It was a fun-filled Saturday. And on top of that, Jon had the night off of work so we had all day together Sunday.
Which reminds me..... starting next week, Jon will have two nights off every week!! As usual, God came through. It is such an answer to prayer and we are so thankful to have another day together :-)
